My Approach

The therapeutic process for the most part is either crisis management long term or short term intervention.  I am supportive and customize the sessions in such a way as to respect your individual needs and personality styles.

What Can Psychotherapy Help With?

The goal of psychotherapy is to help people process a variety of challenges we all encounter.

It is to educate people on how to interpret and deal with positive and negative life events, such as marriage, parenting, career changes, divorce, loss or infidelity.

All of these stressors may cause anxiety, depression or grief, which are indications that there is an issue that needs to be resolved.  Once the issue is dealt with, the negative emotions should dissipate.

Psychotherapy is a unique time when you are completely focused on yourself.   It is meant to be an opportunity to understand how emotions and logic affect how you make decisions.
