Leila Feldman holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Certified Anger Management Facilitator (C.A.M.F.) In addition, she is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).
The Anger Management Program
Leila Feldman has been in private practice since 2006, specializing in Anger Management Counselling. In 2007, she received her certification in Anger Management Counselling.
In up to 10 one hour sessions, each client receives a tailor-made program which includes learning how to manage their anger, communication skills and empathy training which ultimately helps the individual repair and enhance their relationships. Her reports have been accepted in the Ontario Court of Justice.
Briefly the program covers the following:
Recognizing anger and stress triggers
Providing insight to clients on how anger/stress can damage health
Developing empathy and insight
Improving communication skills in relationships
Effective methods to cope with and manage anger and stress
The beneficiaries of this program include:
Court ordered cases for domestic assault
Adults and teens struggling in their personal and family relationships
Individuals coping with anger/stress inherent in the work environment
